These Terms & Conditions set out the important information for your visit to HUSH Therapies.
Please read them carefully so we can provide you with a safe, professional, and relaxing experience.
SALON ETIQUETTE
- Please keep your voice low during your visit to maintain a peaceful environment.
- Kindly set your mobile phone to silent or switch it off.
- This consideration helps ensure a calm and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
BOOKING TREATMENTS
- We recommend booking treatments in advance to avoid disappointment.
- A Medical Consultation Form must be completed before your treatment (sent automatically when booking online). Treatments cannot proceed without it. If health conditions are not disclosed in advance, HUSH Therapies reserves the right to refuse or adapt the treatment.
- All personal information is kept strictly confidential.
- A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee (deposit) is required for each treatment, unless secured under our Card Capture policy.
- Deposits are applied to your final balance.
- Deposits must be received at least 48 hours before your appointment. If the deposit has not been paid by this time, the appointment may be cancelled or released to another client. Unpaid deposits are treated as unconfirmed bookings.
- Member Exclusive Treatments: These treatments are available only to active HUSH Members. If you are not a Member and book a Member Exclusive treatment, the appointment will not proceed as booked. You may be offered a similar alternative treatment, or the booking may be declined. Any payment made will be credited to your account for 6 months and is non-refundable.
- Clients on an Annual HUSH Membership (paid in full upfront) are exempt from deposits, but all other payment and cancellation rules still apply.
- Once a booking is confirmed, the price is final and not refundable if later discounts or promotions are released.
- HUSH Therapies reserves the right to amend packages and prices at any time. These changes will not affect confirmed bookings.
OFFERS & PROMOTIONS
- Offers are only valid for the dates advertised and cannot be extended.
- Each offer is subject to availability and may have limited spaces.
- Once an offer has expired, it cannot be backdated or applied to existing bookings.
- Offers cannot be combined with other discounts, memberships, or vouchers unless specifically stated.
- HUSH Therapies reserves the right to withdraw or amend offers at any time.
CARD CAPTURE
HUSH Therapies reserves the right to use a secure card capture system for some bookings. Card details are stored securely by our payment provider and are never visible to us.
- Cards will not be charged at the time of booking unless a deposit or full payment is required.
- If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, fail to attend your appointment, or if your appointment is ended due to unsafe or inappropriate behaviour, your card may be charged the full treatment cost.
- Annual HUSH Members (paid in full upfront) are exempt from deposits, but standard cancellation charges still apply.
APPOINTMENT DETAILS
- Arrival: You’re welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes before your appointment. Please note that arriving early does not mean your treatment will start early, your full treatment time begins at your scheduled start time. If we happen to invite you in earlier than your appointment time, the treatment will still run for the booked duration.
If we are with a client, the door will remain closed until we are ready for your appointment. - Late arrival : If you arrive late, your treatment may be shortened to ensure we remain on schedule, and the full treatment cost will still apply.
- Appointment times include 5–10 minutes for consultation and changing.
- Clients must wear underwear during treatments. Ladies may remove bras if they feel comfortable.
- If HUSH Therapies cannot fulfil your booked treatment, you will be offered a gift voucher for the amount paid or an alternative appointment date.
- When you purchase a treatment, you are booking services with HUSH Therapies, not a specific therapist. We may change or substitute your therapist if necessary. All therapists are fully qualified.
- If you request a specific therapist and they are unavailable, you may reschedule. Any payments made will be credited to your account for use within 6 months.
USE OF PRODUCTS & HEALTH
- All treatments at HUSH Therapies are carried out using professional-grade products that are fully insured, patch-tested, and safe for salon use.
- Some treatments include the use of essential oils. While reactions are rare, we recommend a patch test at least 24 hours before your appointment if you have sensitive skin or known allergies. Patch testing is optional, and by booking a treatment you acknowledge this advice and accept responsibility should you choose not to have one.
- For insurance reasons, we are unable to use client-supplied products (including CBD oils) during treatments.
- Certain medical conditions may mean treatment is not suitable. Please disclose all relevant health information on your consultation form before your appointment so we can ensure your treatment is safe and appropriate.
CANCELLATION POLICY
At least 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
- More than 48 hours’ notice: deposits may be transferred to a future booking within 6 months.
- Less than 48 hours’ notice: the full treatment cost will be charged.
- No-shows (no cancellation given): the full treatment cost will be charged.
- Prices are fixed at the time of booking. Refunds, rebookings, or price adjustments cannot be given if discounts or promotions are released afterwards.
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
- Any inappropriate behaviour (comments, gestures, advances) will result in immediate termination of the treatment.
- All treatments at HUSH Therapies are strictly professional and therapeutic. No sexual services are offered or tolerated.
- Treatments will not proceed if a client is intoxicated, using drugs, threatening, or unsafe.
- Verbal abuse, intimidation, or harassment will not be tolerated.
- Therapists have the right to stop treatment and ask the client to leave. Incidents may be reported to the police.
- The client will remain responsible for full payment of the booked session in such cases.
CHILDREN
- Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, who is responsible for their supervision and behaviour at all times.
SMOKING & ALCOHOL
- HUSH Therapies is a non-smoking premises (including vapes and e-cigarettes).
- Guests under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be refused treatment without refund.
GIFT VOUCHERS
- To redeem a voucher, please provide the voucher number at the time of booking. If your voucher does not include a reference number, please contact us directly.
- Missed or late-cancelled appointments will result in the voucher being redeemed in full, with no refund or reissue.
- Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and cannot be used beyond the expiry date.
- All treatments are subject to availability. We strongly recommend booking well in advance, as availability cannot be guaranteed, particularly towards the end of the validity period. Once expired, vouchers cannot be used, extended, or refunded.
- Vouchers must be used within our current opening hours, which are subject to change. No extensions or refunds will be given if your availability does not align with salon opening times.
- Vouchers are non-transferable and strictly non-refundable.
- Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
- Any unused balance will not be refunded or carried forward.
- Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced or reissued.
- If the cost of your treatment exceeds the voucher value, the difference must be paid by another method
COMPETITIONS
HUSH Therapies Ltd may from time to time run competitions, prize draws, or lucky dips. Each promotion will have its own details (prizes, entry methods, closing date), which will always be clearly advertised in salon or online.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 and over.
- Closing dates will be clearly stated for each competition. Entries must be received by the advertised closing date; late entries will not be accepted.
- Free postal entry is always available by sending your name, contact details, and answer (if applicable) to:
HUSH Therapies Ltd, 22 Mostyn Avenue, Craig y Don, Llandudno, LL30 1YY. - Multiple entries are permitted, provided each entry is submitted separately and the relevant entry fee (if applicable) is paid.
- Winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries and notified via the contact details provided within 7 days of the closing date.
- If the winner does not respond within 14 days, another winner may be drawn.
- Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
- The winner’s first name and initial may be announced in salon and/or on social media.
- The decision of HUSH Therapies Ltd regarding any competition is final.
PASSES
- Passes are valid only for the treatments stated and cannot be exchanged for other services.
- All sessions must be used within the stated validity period (e.g. 6–12 months, depending on the pass purchased).
- Passes are non-transferable and strictly non-refundable.
- Missed or late-cancelled appointments will result in the loss of a session.
- Subject to HUSH Therapies’ full Terms & Conditions.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership is available as:
Annual: £99 upfront. If purchased directly, this is a one-off payment and does not auto-renew. If purchased via GoCardless, the membership may renew automatically unless cancelled in advance. No joining fee applies.
Monthly: £10/month plus a £10 joining fee (via Direct Debit with GoCardless).
The £10 joining fee is non-refundable and covers the administration and setup of your membership.
For monthly memberships, the first payment is collected around five working days after joining. That date then becomes the regular billing date each month.
Membership benefits begin once the first full monthly payment has cleared.
Monthly memberships have a minimum commitment of three months.
Membership is for the named member only and cannot be shared.
Complimentary treatments must be booked directly with HUSH (not online). They are spaced six months apart, cannot be combined, and cannot be used for joint/shared treatments such as Pause Together.
Complimentary treatments cannot be carried forward, transferred, or exchanged for cash.
If a Direct Debit payment is cancelled or missed, membership ends immediately and any complimentary treatments already received will be charged at full price.
Membership Benefits include:
- Two complimentary 60-minute treatments per year (one every six months).
- One complimentary 30-minute treatment during your birthday month.
- 15% off all full-price treatments (excludes member-only treatments, seasonal promotions, and weekly offers).
Membership Payments & Deposits:
- Only Annual Members (paid in full upfront) are exempt from deposits.
- Monthly Members remain subject to standard deposit and payment policies.
- All other treatments (outside complimentary sessions) require a deposit when booking.
- The 15% discount is applied in salon at checkout.
- Member Exclusive treatments are available only to active HUSH Members. If a non-member books one of these treatments, the appointment will not go ahead as booked. A suitable alternative may be offered, or the booking may be declined. Any payment made will be credited to the client’s account for 6 months and is non-refundable.
ANIMALS
- Animals are not permitted in the salon, except assistance dogs (please advise us in advance).
LOSS OR DAMAGE OF PERSONAL ITEMS
- HUSH Therapies is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. Please always keep your belongings with you.
LIABILITY NOTICE
- HUSH Therapies accepts no responsibility for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or misadventures on the premises, except where caused by negligence or misconduct by HUSH Therapies.
